Sunday Morning Church
OSCC meets at 10am every Sunday for worship, communion, teaching and fellowship. Everyone is welcome! During the message a creche runs for 18 month to 4 year old children. Sunday school also runs during this time - see Kids Connection below.
Kids Connection
Kids Connection runs during the message time on Sunday mornings for children aged between 4 – 10 years. The aim of the program is for children to develop knowledge and understanding of the Bible and practical ideas about living for Jesus.
Little OSCCARS
Little OSCCARS is a playgroup that meets at the church every second Friday during school terms from 9.30 to 11.30 for mothers with children up to school age. Activities include story time, craft, singing and free play.
Little OSCCARS caters for children from birth to school age and aims to provide a stimulating environment for children as well as a supportive and social environment for parents or carers.
Pastorates
During 2011 our church is arranged into 'shepherding groups' or 'Pastorates' as we believe that the concept of 'shepherding' is the biblical way for the church to be led (1Peter 5). Each of our Eldership (or Pastoral Leadership Team) couples are leading one of these groups, so there are currently 3 Pastorates across the church (please see the noticeboard in the church foyer for the lists of people in each Pastorate and the times and places that they meet). These are relationally-based groups with the leaders of each group being each person's primary contact with the Eldership for issues of care, growth, guidance, etc. The primary function of the Pastorates is to promote connection, care and growth through a culture of shpherding within the Pastorates and across the church. We are encouraging everyone to not only 'be shepherded' but to shepherd and encourage others, in a wide variety of ways and at a range of levels.
Whatever the activity, the aims of the Pastorate structure are to promote:
Deeper relationships, ongoing growth and mutual discipleship
Purposeful interaction - to 'spur one another on'; not just get together
Opportunities for serving one another and mission together
A culture of connection and community
A biblical, real-life view of all of us as 'the church'
Each Pastorate will get together regularly as a whole group - these gatherings are a time for relationship building, sharing meals, teaching, worship and prayer, as seen in Acts.
We see these Pastorate gatherings as helping to:
Strengthen relationships and build friendships within the church
Help new people integrate into the church
Help people develop their gifts (teaching, hospitality, leadership, prayer etc)
Provide a relaxed environment for people to explore Christianity and Christian community.
If you have any questions regarding Pastorates please speak with one of the Pastoral Leadership Team,

See the "What's On" section to find out when we are getting together at other times.
